What’s Important To Me

Therapy needs to feel safe in order for trust to develop. As part of that foundation, I do not want you to have to wonder where I stand on particular issues. I am a strengths-based practitioner and believe you can do anything you set your mind to with an inner belief and resources.

I am rooted in feminist, anti-racist and intersectional foundations; simply put, I see you, I hear you, and welcome you to authentically be present with all your various identities.

We are living in difficult times and our time together is only a piece of the larger picture. I utilize an Ecological Systems Framework to help unpack how you are impacted by different societal institutions, environments and locations based on your complex identities.

Using a trauma-informed lens, I also want to empower the idea of choice and resilience.

I can promise you that when we are not in session, I am an advocate, a learner and promoting social justice every opportunity I can. Therapy is political.

"Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it."

On A Lighter Note

  • I am an avid reader and love using Libby on my Kindle (If you have not yet read “The Bright Years” by Sarah Damoff do it!)

  • I love going out to eat. If you need food recommendations, I am your girl

  • I am an introvert and recharge by spending time with my sweet son, a yellow cat named Preston

  • I am a Cancer, Leo, Cancer… if that means anything to you
